Classic Cuvée Edition I
£55
Domaine Evremond’s first release blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from the 2020 and 2019 harvests. It spent three years ageing on the lees before release.

Chilham, Canterbury
Domaine Evremond began with a partnership between Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger of Champagne Taittinger and Patrick McGrath MW of Hatch Mansfield. The project launched in 2015, and the first vines were planted at Chilham in 2017. The first full harvest followed in 2019. Classic Cuvée Edition I was released in spring 2025, ten years after the partnership was announced.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grow on south-facing slopes near Chilham, where the soil contains deep, free-draining chalk and flint. The 125-hectare property lies about 50 to 90 metres above sea level. The winery is built mostly underground and uses gravity to move the grapes and wine through production. Its low profile also reduces its visual impact on the surrounding landscape.
WINEMAKER
Champagne Taittinger cellar master Alexandre Ponnavoy leads the blending and winemaking for Domaine Evremond. Vineyard Director Christelle Rinville works with the UK team to oversee the vines and harvest, linking decisions in the vineyard with the style of each release.
