Tenterden
Established in 2002, Chapel Down is based at Small Hythe near Tenterden in Kent. It makes still and traditional-method sparkling wines using its own vineyards and long-term grower partnerships across South East England. Its wines are sold through restaurants, supermarkets and independent merchants, while the estate welcomes visitors for tours and tastings.
WINEMAKER
Josh Donaghay-Spire is Chapel Down’s operations director and head winemaker. He leads the winemaking, vineyard and production teams, overseeing both its still and traditional-method sparkling wines.
