Established in 2005 at Furner’s Green in Sussex, Bluebell Vineyard Estates produces the Hindleap range of traditional-method sparkling wines and the Ashdown collection of still wines. Its cellar door overlooks the estate, where visitors can take vineyard and woodland walks.
The estate at Furner’s Green includes vineyards and woodland. It grows grapes for both the Hindleap sparkling range and the Ashdown still wines, with walking routes open to visitors.
WINEMAKER
Kevin Sutherland oversees the blending of Bluebell’s Hindleap sparkling wines. The base wines are kept separately on their lees through winter and do not undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving their natural acidity. They are then blended for a second fermentation in bottle, followed by extended ageing on the lees.

Visitors can join vineyard and winery tours, taste the wines, explore vineyard and woodland walks or simply settle in with a glass at the cellar door.
The vineyard and woods are normally open seven days a week. The tasting room and cellar door are open Thursday and Friday, 11am–4pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am–5pm. Bank-holiday Mondays are normally 11am–4pm.
