Named after the local legend of King Ludd, Silverhand Estate sits within a landscape steeped in history. Since its establishment, the estate has grown to become a leading name in English wine, built on a commitment to organic farming and a belief that exceptional wines start in the vineyard. While wine remains at the heart of the business, Silverhand has evolved into a destination where visitors can discover the best of Kent through wine, food, hospitality and outdoor experiences.
The vineyards form part of a wider estate encompassing rolling countryside, woodland and grazing land within the Kent Downs. Every vine is cultivated according to certified organic principles, allowing the estate to work in harmony with the surrounding environment. Sheep and cattle help manage the land naturally, while dedicated conservation efforts support local wildlife and biodiversity. The result is a vineyard ecosystem designed not only to produce high-quality fruit, but to protect and enhance the landscape for future generations.
WINEMAKER
The wines of Silverhand Estate showcase the breadth of modern English winemaking, from the fresh, fruit-forward Silver Reign Brut and Silver Reign Rosé, produced using the Charmat method, to the traditional method Classic Brut and prestige cuvée KYNG. Alongside its sparkling collection, the estate produces a growing range of still wines including Bacchus, Chardonnay, Solaris and Strawberries and Cream Rosé. Together, the portfolio reflects the versatility of organically grown fruit from Kent and offers wines for every occasion.
