Bluebell Vineyard Estates was established in 2005 at Furner’s Green in Sussex. It is home to the Hindleap range of traditional-method sparkling wines and the Ashdown collection of still wines, combining estate-grown fruit with a welcoming cellar-door experience. Visitors can explore the vineyard and woodland, join a guided tour or tasting, and enjoy wines overlooking the estate.
The Sussex estate grows classic sparkling-wine varieties and other grapes suited to the English climate. Hindleap base wines are kept separately on their lees through winter, do not undergo malolactic fermentation, and are blended before a second fermentation in bottle and extended lees ageing.
WINEMAKER
Winemaker Kevin Sutherland guides the blending of Bluebell’s Hindleap sparkling wines. His approach preserves the fruit’s natural acidity and purity, using separate base wines and extended bottle ageing to build depth, richness and complexity.

The vineyard and woods are normally open seven days a week. The tasting room and cellar door are open Thursday and Friday, 11am–4pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am–5pm. Bank-holiday Mondays are normally 11am–4pm.
