The Story

Brabourne is a small family-run vineyard at Court Lodge in the Kent Downs. Paul and Hester Fenwick returned to the UK with their family in 2012 and established the vineyard in 2014, developing a hands-on estate focused on small-batch still and sparkling wines. Its setting, family story and personalised hospitality are central to the experience.

Our Terroir & Heritage

The Vineyards

The vineyard lies on a gently sloping, south-west-facing site at the foot of the North Downs. Chalky soils support Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and much of the work is carried out by hand. Grapes are made into wine with the team at Oxney Wine Estate.

The Winemaker

WINEMAKER

Kristin Syltevik & Salvatore Leone

Brabourne’s grapes are made into wine by Kristin Syltevik and Salvatore Leone at Oxney Wine Estate. Their work aims to retain the clean, pure character of the Kent fruit while producing both traditional-method sparkling wines and expressive still releases.

Visit and Experience

OPENING & BOOKING

Most visits are by arrangement, with occasional drop-in dates advertised separately.

Booking is the safest option because the team cannot always guarantee someone will be on site outside advertised sessions.
