Hassocks
Julie Bretland and Mark Collins established Artelium in 2020, bringing wine production and contemporary art together on a Sussex estate. It produces vintage still and sparkling wines and hosts exhibitions alongside tastings, tours and seasonal dining.
Artelium grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in its South Downs vineyards for still and traditional-method sparkling wines. Sculpture and contemporary art are displayed around the estate.
WINEMAKER
Solly Monyamane joined Artelium as winemaker in 2023. A Stellenbosch University alumnus, he leads the winery team responsible for the estate’s vintage wines.
